I decided to do yard work last Sunday, and apparently it wasn't the best idea because now I'm covered in poison ivy :( I at first thought I had bed bugs, but then when it started to spread I figured out what it was. This is my first time having it and I pray it will be my last! As you can see in the picture it's on my neck, which is probably the most annoying place. It started there then spread to my face, stomach and legs. Not only does it look disgusting but it itches like CRAZY!! Notice how swollen my ear is...yeah, it's gross.
I've been putting calamine lotion on it, I've soaked in oatmeal baths, and I've been spraying on some stuff called Ivy-gone....but it doesn't seem like it's getting any better. I guess only time can really heal it. Because I'm covered in this crap, I didn't do much this weekend...we did get out last night and eat dinner and then went to Victoryland. This is the only picture I got while we were there.
It was pretty neat, kinda like a climpse of Vegas, which made me sorta want to visit there one day. However, we had to wait in a line for an hour and a half to get a card for the machines...and then I didn't even win anything. I knew going into it that I have to worst luck, so I wasn't expecting much. They're having a special this month where each day they'll automatically put $25 on your card, so we might go back and try our luck again.
