It's already the middle of October and I can't believe how fast this month is flying by. I love it though, this is by far my favorite time of year. Halloween is my favorite holiday...it's just so much fun. I love that the weather gets cooler and all the activities that come with this time of year, like going to the pumpkin patch...
This was our first time going to the Grand Ole Pumpkin Patch and it was a lot of fun. For those who don't know it's located in Clanton and they have a bunch of things to do. It's really neat because you take a hayride out to the pumpkin patch and pick your own pumpkin. To me it's definitely a lot better then just going to Walmart and picking one out of a big box. We had a good time but feel like it would have been more fun if we had kids...they focus it more around children, so we'll probably hold off going back until we do have kids.

Photography Blog
UGH!
I decided to do yard work last Sunday, and apparently it wasn't the best idea because now I'm covered in poison ivy :( I at first thought I had bed bugs, but then when it started to spread I figured out what it was. This is my first time having it and I pray it will be my last! As you can see in the picture it's on my neck, which is probably the most annoying place. It started there then spread to my face, stomach and legs. Not only does it look disgusting but it itches like CRAZY!! Notice how swollen my ear is...yeah, it's gross. I've been putting calamine lotion on it, I've soaked in oatmeal baths, and I've been spraying on some stuff called Ivy-gone....but it doesn't seem like it's getting any better. I guess only time can really heal it. Because I'm covered in this crap, I didn't do much this weekend...we did get out last night and eat dinner and then went to Victoryland. This is the only picture I got while we were there. It was pretty neat, kinda like a climpse of Vegas, which made me sorta want to visit there one day. However, we had to wait in a line for an hour and a half to get a card for the machines...and then I didn't even win anything. I knew going into it that I have to worst luck, so I wasn't expecting much. They're having a special this month where each day they'll automatically put $25 on your card, so we might go back and try our luck again.

Weddings, weddings, weddings
Alright, apparently I'm horrible at blogging, but I do have an excuse. Our computer got some crazy virus that wouldn't let me log on, so really I haven't been able to blog...or at least that's my excuse for now. :) I'm really gonna try to keep this updated, but no promises. Anyways...It's a new year now and I've got lots planned. It's almost wedding season and the showers have started. I've got 4 weddings this summer:
Laura D. is my step-sister. Her and Josh
are getting married
May 1st
Ashley is one of my best friends. Her and Jeremy
are getting married May 28th. I'm an honorary
bridesmaid and the photographer :)
Tyler is my brother and I couldn't think of a
better girl to be my sister-in-law!
He and Danielle are getting married
June 19th.
Laura B. is my cousin. Her and Josh are
getting married July 10th.
I'm a bridesmaid and the photographer...that's going to be interesting! :)
so It's gonna be a pretty crazy summer, but I'm excited. They are 4 of my best friends and I'm happy for each of the couples! And yes, you may have noticed there are 2 Laura and Joshs...crazy.
The showers officially started 2 weeks ago with Laura D.'s Lingerie shower...it was alot of fun and she got a lot of goodies. Here's a few pictures from the shower
Speaking of weddings...mine and Paul's 1 year anniversary is less than 2 months away...CRAZY!! I have no idea what we're gonna do to celebrate it, but I'm sure we'll have fun whatever we do. I can't believe it's almost been a year!

About Time
Ok, I know it's been forever since I've been on here and on the last blog I said I was going to blog more...we'll this time I'm really going to, or at least try. In the last blog it was January and Paul and I were engaged. A lot has happened since then...we've been married now for a little over 5 months and it's going great! I absolutely love married life and could not ask for a better husband. Here's a few of my favorite pictures from the big day...Paul surprised me by having Micheal Warren
We have now moved down to Montgomery because Paul started his own detailing business, which is doing really well. I'm working at a gym teaching gymnastics to preschoolers and doing my photography on the side. I did a photo shoot of a 6 month old named Max last week...here's a few of my favoritesHe's such a cutie! His mom was really happy with them and wants pictures of him each month, which is great! Hopefully she'll spread the word and my business will actually take off.
I have a praise real quick...about a week and a half ago I had to have what is called Leep surgery, I was having abnormal pap smears and my doctor said it was because I had abnormal cells on my cervix so they had to go in a remove the cells. I was really nervous because I'd never had any kind of surgery before, but it went really well and I was actually up and doing stuff the same day. I had a lot of prayers that day and I know God had his hand on me. The doctor sent the cells off to make sure that they weren't cancerous. I had to wait over a week for the results, which was kind of nerve wrecking but I finally got the call and they weren't cancer and all the cells were removed, so PRAISE THE LORD! I'm just praying that my next pap comes back normal and I never have to do that again.
Well other then that things have been pretty normal. I'm going to Nashville this weekend for Tiffany's bachelorette party, which I'm really excited about because I've never been out in Nashville but I've heard it's really fun. I'll be posting pictures when we get back. Well, thanks for taking the time to read all of my jabbering. :)

New Year, New Goals
Well it's already 2009 and hopefully this year I'll be better at blogging than I was in the last ...but so far I'm not off to a good start. Well with a new year comes new goals:
Fingers crossed I can accomplish them all.
Next week will be the beginning of February which means in about 3 month Paul and I will be married...crazy, I know. I honestly can't wait though. I feel like it's starting to feel real now and I'm so excited!
- Get my butt in shape (which i've been going to the gym a good bit-very proud of myself)
- Strengthen my relationship with The Lord ( I want what my mom has with Him)
- Make mine and Paul's relationship more Godly
- Get a new car (can't wait)
- Be a great wife :)
