Fall is in the air...

It's already the middle of October and I can't believe how fast this month is flying by. I love it though, this is by far my favorite time of year. Halloween is my favorite holiday...it's just so much fun. I love that the weather gets cooler and all the activities that come with this time of year, like going to the pumpkin patch...

This was our first time going to the Grand Ole Pumpkin Patch and it was a lot of fun. For those who don't know it's located in Clanton and they have a bunch of things to do. It's really neat because you take a hayride out to the pumpkin patch and pick your own pumpkin. To me it's definitely a lot better then just going to Walmart and picking one out of a big box. We had a good time but feel like it would have been more fun if we had kids...they focus it more around children, so we'll probably hold off going back until we do have kids.

Photography Blog

I've finally gotten around to creating a blog for my photography, yay! It's http://bgphotographs.blogspot.com/
so check it out and follow it!
No promises on it being updated regularly but I'll do what I can :)

UGH!

I decided to do yard work last Sunday, and apparently it wasn't the best idea because now I'm covered in poison ivy :( I at first thought I had bed bugs, but then when it started to spread I figured out what it was. This is my first time having it and I pray it will be my last! As you can see in the picture it's on my neck, which is probably the most annoying place. It started there then spread to my face, stomach and legs. Not only does it look disgusting but it itches like CRAZY!! Notice how swollen my ear is...yeah, it's gross. I've been putting calamine lotion on it, I've soaked in oatmeal baths, and I've been spraying on some stuff called Ivy-gone....but it doesn't seem like it's getting any better. I guess only time can really heal it. Because I'm covered in this crap, I didn't do much this weekend...we did get out last night and eat dinner and then went to Victoryland. This is the only picture I got while we were there. It was pretty neat, kinda like a climpse of Vegas, which made me sorta want to visit there one day. However, we had to wait in a line for an hour and a half to get a card for the machines...and then I didn't even win anything. I knew going into it that I have to worst luck, so I wasn't expecting much. They're having a special this month where each day they'll automatically put $25 on your card, so we might go back and try our luck again.

Weddings, weddings, weddings

Alright, apparently I'm horrible at blogging, but I do have an excuse. Our computer got some crazy virus that wouldn't let me log on, so really I haven't been able to blog...or at least that's my excuse for now. :) I'm really gonna try to keep this updated, but no promises. Anyways...It's a new year now and I've got lots planned. It's almost wedding season and the showers have started. I've got 4 weddings this summer:

Laura D. is my step-sister. Her and Josh
are getting married
May 1st

Ashley is one of my best friends. Her and Jeremy
are getting married May 28th. I'm an honorary
bridesmaid and the photographer :)

Tyler is my brother and I couldn't think of a
better girl to be my sister-in-law!
He and Danielle are getting married
June 19th.

Laura B. is my cousin. Her and Josh are
getting married July 10th.
I'm a bridesmaid and the photographer...that's going to be interesting! :)

so It's gonna be a pretty crazy summer, but I'm excited. They are 4 of my best friends and I'm happy for each of the couples! And yes, you may have noticed there are 2 Laura and Joshs...crazy.

The showers officially started 2 weeks ago with Laura D.'s Lingerie shower...it was alot of fun and she got a lot of goodies. Here's a few pictures from the shower

Speaking of weddings...mine and Paul's 1 year anniversary is less than 2 months away...CRAZY!! I have no idea what we're gonna do to celebrate it, but I'm sure we'll have fun whatever we do. I can't believe it's almost been a year!
